The Oosbach is about 17.5 km long, northwest and right tributary of the Kyll near Gerolstein in the Vulkaneifel district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is a second order body of water and has the code number 2664.

The Oosbach rises at an altitude of 621  m above sea level. NHN at the local community of Steffeln .

It flows past Duppach and Kalenborn-Schänen , then through the Gerolsteiner districts of Oos and Müllenborn and finally flows out at an altitude of 353  m above sea level. NHN near the Gerolstein district of Lissingen from the right into the Kyll .

The 17.5 km long course of the Oosbach ends about 268 meters below its source, so it has a mean bed gradient of about 15 ‰.

The 70.19 km². The large catchment area of ​​the Oosbach lies in the Eifel and is drained through it via the Kyll, Moselle and Rhine to the North Sea.
