The operation grommet was a series of 34 US nuclear weapons testing , the 1971 and 1972 at the Nevada Test Site in Nevada was conducted. Only the Cannikin test took place in Amchitka, Alaska . The hydrogen bomb used in this test is the most powerful nuclear weapon ever tested underground by the United States.
