architecture

A curved gable was placed in front of the narrow-high nave under a gable roof on the west facade . The choir has small arched windows and is slightly offset from the unobstructed north side of the nave. The slender square tower stands at the end of the choir and has a bell storey set off by a cornice with arched sound windows and a pointed helmet over hipped gables. To the south of the choir and partly to the nave is the sacristy annex under a tented roof . The round-arched west portal is presented with a vestibule with round pillars and a saddle roof. To the south is a baroque sundial between the two nave windows.

The nave, which was four-bay in 1979 and has a pillarless west gallery, is separated from the choir with a five-eighth end with layered pilasters and a belt arch. The church is vaulted with a stone cap barrel. The interior of the church is decorated with an architectural and stucco painting. The ceiling painting of the Adoration of the Shepherds in the Ship and the symbols of the Virgin Mary from the Lauretanian Litany above the windows, marked 1772, were uncovered in 1927 and restored in 1951.

Furnishing

The rococo altar with diagonally set columns and an attachment dates from 1772 and shows the altarpieces Visitation, Anna Maria teaching reading and Holy Family on the Wandering by Paul Zeiller (1701).
