Oscar Eduardo Miñarro

Oscar Eduardo Miñarro (born September 15, 1960 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Merlo-Moreno .

Life

Oscar Eduardo Miñarro studied at the Seminary of the Diocese of Morón , for which he was ordained deacon on October 22, 1994 by Bishop Justo Oscar Laguna and on March 25, 1995 he was ordained a priest . With the establishment of the Diocese of Merlo-Moreno on May 13, 1997, he was incardinated in its clergy .

After various tasks in pastoral care and as dean , he was among other things a member of the pastoral and priest council of the diocese and responsible for the candidates for priesthood . Eventually he was appointed vicar general of the diocese.

Pope Francis appointed him auxiliary bishop in Merlo-Moreno and titular bishop of Antium on September 19, 2016 . The bishop of Merlo-Moreno, Fernando Carlos Maletti , gave him episcopal ordination on December 3rd of the same year. Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of San Isidro , Alcides Jorge Pedro Casaretto , and the bishop of Cruz del Eje , Santiago Olivera .
