Fernando Carlos Maletti (born March 17, 1949 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is Bishop of Merlo-Moreno .

Life

Fernando Carlos Maletti received on 24 November 1973, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 20, 2001, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of San Carlos de Bariloche . The Archbishop of Buenos Aires , Jorge Mario Cardinal Bergoglio SJ , donated him episcopal ordination on September 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Avellaneda-Lanús , Rubén Oscar Frassia , the Bishop of San Martín , Raúl Omar Rossi , and the Auxiliary Bishops in Buenos Aires, Jorge Eduardo Lozano and Horacio Ernesto Benites Astoul .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Merlo-Moreno on May 6, 2013 . The inauguration took place on June 9 of the same year.
