Osjutytschi (Ukrainian Озютичі ; Russian Озютичи / Osjutitschi , Polish Oździutycze ) is a Ukrainian village in the oblast Wolyn . It is located in Lokachi Rajon , about 13 kilometers northeast of the district capital Lokachi and about 44 kilometers west of the Oblast capital Lutsk on the Turija River.
On June 20, 2018, the village became part of the newly founded rural community Wijnyzja ( Війницька сільська громада Wijnyzka silska hromada ), until then the village and the eastern village of Sapust (Запуст) formed the district council.
The village was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1545 and belonged to the aristocratic republic of Poland (in the Voivodeship of Volhynia ) until the third division of Poland , then came to the Russian Empire , where it was in the Volhynian governorate . In 1918/1921 it fell to Poland and came to the Volyn Voivodeship in the Powiat Horochów , Gmina Kisielin . As a result of the Hitler-Stalin Pact , the Soviet Union occupied the area and made the place the capital of the Osyutychi Rajon of the same name in 1940 . After the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941, the place was under German rule until 1944 (in the Reichskommissariat Ukraine ), then came back to the Soviet Union after the Second World War and was incorporated into the Ukrainian SSR . In 1946 the district seat was moved to Saturzi and it remained a simple village, since 1991 it has been part of today's Ukraine.
