Osmoloda ( Ukrainian and Russian Осмолода , Polish Osmołoda ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 60 inhabitants (2006).
The mountain village was founded as a logging town in 1873 in Gorgany -Gebirgszug the Carpathians is the southernmost village in Rozhniativ Raion and the center of the eponymous district municipality , nor the village to the Hrynkiw ( Гриньків ⊙ ) and the settlement Kusmynez ( Кузьминець ⊙ belongs).
Osmoloda is located at the mouth of the Moloda ( Молода ) mountain stream in the Limnyzja about 90 km southwest of the Oblast capital Ivano-Frankivsk and 58 km south of the district center Roschnjatiw . The village is on the T – 09–01 Territorial Road and has a train station on a narrow-gauge railway . Many mountains of the Gorgany can be hiked from the village, such as the Sywulja Velyka, 15 km to the south-east and 1836 m high .
