Ossi Saarinen (born December 9, 1986 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish ice hockey player who has been under contract with ESV Kaufbeuren in the DEL2 since August 2018 .

Career

Saarinen learned to play ice hockey in his hometown at Helsinki Jokerit and went through all the youth teams there before making his debut in the first team in the 2006/07 season and playing in the top Finnish league. He stayed with his hometown club until 2011. For the 2011/12 season he moved within the league to KalPa , where he played in the first division for three more years.

He then moved to the first Danish league to the Gentofte Stars , where he became the team top scorer. The following season he signed a contract with league competitor Rungsted Seier Capital . Saarinen was also able to convince here and was once again the best scorer of his team. He then left Denmark and joined the HC Nové Zámky from the Slovak Extra League . Again he was able to show the most scorer points within the team. For the 2017/18 season he moved to the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in the DEL2 .

In August 2018, he was committed to the ESV Kaufbeuren.
