Osterwald, Oberende was a municipality in the Lower Saxony district of Hanover .

history

Population development

At the end of 2005, around 3500 inhabitants lived in Osterwald Unterende on 13.3 km ² . The population density at that time was around 260 per km ² .

On June 6, 1961 there were 1,456 inhabitants in the former municipality, on May 27, 1970 there were 1932 inhabitants.

Incorporations

On March 1, 1974, the municipality of Osterwald, Oberende was incorporated into the town of Garbsen . There it forms together with the former municipality of Osterwald, Unterende the district of Osterwald .
