In 1929 he finished his studies and moved to Dresden, where he worked as a composer and music teacher until the end of his life. Audio language

According to Reinhold, he did not feel obliged to any particular style. He composed tonally with a modal touch . His works are mostly concise, vital and melodic. He tried to be understandable and to have a clear, self-contained design. The neoclassical tone of some works refers in a muted form to Paul Hindemith , which manifests itself particularly in fourth harmony and playful tone. Even Anton Bruckner plays about the subject or the treatment of the brass a certain role. His triptych for orchestra achieved particular fame . More modern compositional developments played no role in Reinhold's work.
