Otto Reiser (born December 24, 1884 in Polling ; † March 21, 1957 ), also called "Ottl", was a German football player.
Career
societies
Reiser was one of the pillars of Karlsruher FC Phönix , to which he and his brother Fritz moved from Karlsruher FV in 1905 . The young Karlsruhe team caused a stir in the following years and surprisingly won the German championship in 1909. The Reiser brothers played in the first team of Karlsruhe during the First World War . Otto moved to the WAC in Vienna for the 1918/19 season , for which he played in first class and finished the season in third place. He then returned to Karlsruhe and played again for his former club from 1919 to 1924 , first in the Baden District League , from 1920 to 1922 in the Southwest District League , the 1923/24 season again in the Baden District League and his last season in the District League Württemberg / Baden from which he and his team were relegated to the county league as bottom of the table.
Selection / national team
At that time Reiser played in the Karlsruhe city selection, in the selection team of the Association of South German Football Associations in the competition for the Crown Prince's Cup , he was hardly used because he had too much competition in Fritz Förderer , Eugen Kipp and Julius Hirsch .
Reiser played his only international match for the senior national team on April 23, 1911 in Liège . In the friendly against the Belgian national team , which was lost 2-1, he was unable to convince.
