Otto Rohland

Karl Otto Rohland (born April 14, 1828 in Etzoldshain ; † August 31, 1899 there ) was a manor owner and member of the Reichstag .

Rohland attended high school in Zeitz, studied administrative sciences and natural sciences in Jena and Berlin . During his studies he became a member of the fraternity in the castle cellar in 1847/48 . Since 1853 he was leaseholder, later owner of the manors Etzoldshain and Könderitz , at the same time district administrator and head of office.

From 1867 to 1878 and 1881 to 1887 he was a member of the North German and German Reichstag for the constituency of Merseburg 8 ( Naumburg , Weißenfels , Zeitz ). From 1867 to 1873 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .
