Otto von Schuckmann

August Kaspar Nikolaus Otto Freiherr von Schuckmann (born June 4, 1859 at Auras Castle ; † November 23, 1926 in Battinsthal ) was a German administrative officer and manor owner.

Life

Otto von Schuckmann was the son of the chamberlain and state elder at Schloss Auras Freiherrn August von Schuckmann and Angelika geb. from Frankenberg-Lüttwitz . His sister Clara Johanna Therese Angelika (born November 1, 1860) was married to District Administrator Günther von Sydow .

After visiting the monastery Roßleben he studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the Silesian Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Breslau laws and cameralistics . In 1880 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1895 to 1920 he was district administrator of the Steinau district and captain of the Landwehr cavalry. He was the lord of Battinsthal in the Randow district . The marriage with Katharina von Korn had a daughter and two sons.
