The Oule rises on the southern flank of the Montagne de l'Aup , in the municipality of Montmorin , first drains in a westerly direction, then turns south and after a total of 33 kilometers flows into the Eygues as a right tributary in the municipality of Rémuzat . On its way, the Oule crosses the Hautes-Alpes and Drôme departments .
