The Ova da Morteratsch ( Rhaeto-Romanic Ova da Morteratsch ? / I ; roughly means Morteratschbach ) is an approximately 6 km long left tributary of the Bernina Bach in the Swiss canton of Graubünden . Audio file / audio sample

The Ova da Morteratsch rises at around 2790  m above sea level. M. below the Piz Morteratsch the Vadret Boval Dadain glacier . After a stream of around 1.6 kilometers, mainly to the northeast and partly covered by rubble, it reaches the Morteratsch Glacier , where it seeps into the debris of the lateral moraine . After an air distance of around 880 meters, it reappears at the glacier tongue. It flows through the Val Morteratsch , which it leaves below the Morteratsch train station operated by the Bernina Railway. Immediately afterwards the Ova da Morteratsch flows into the Alp Nova ( Morteratsch ) directly below the Cascata da Bernina at 1,878  m above sea level. M. from the left into the Bernina stream, which is roughly the same size according to the water flow.
