The Pücklerstraße forms with its length of 1180 meters, the boundary between the Berlin districts Schmargendorf and Dahlem . It was named in 1905 after the Prussian Minister Erdmann Graf von Pückler (1792–1869).

The former Villa Wurmbach , now the official residence of the Federal President, stands on the property at Pücklerstrasse 14 .

Before 1939, the financial expert, banker and consul general Rudolf Löb lived next door at Villa Pücklerstrasse 16 . Due to the increasing danger for Jews in Germany, Löb had to leave the country in 1939 and the villa went to the Nazi state as part of the Reich escape tax to be paid by Löb , which set up the Reich headquarters of the SS organization “ Research Community of German Ahnenerbe ” there.

The notorious National Socialist functionary Martin Bormann lived at number 20, Pücklerstrasse , and at number 18 the film producer Artur Brauner . The Swedish ambassador resides in Villa Ehrenfeucht at numbers 42–43 .

Pücklerstrasse crosses Clayallee to the west .

The villa of the National Socialist banker Emil Georg von Stauß , built in 1914, is on the neighboring Pacelliallee . After the Second World War it was the seat of the American city commanders and is now the guest house of the Foreign Office .
