PAI Partners (formerly Paribas Affaires Industrielles ) is a French private equity company with headquarters in Paris and 7 international offices (including Munich). The company was created in 2002 through a management buyout following the merger of Paribas and Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP). PAI was originally the investment division of Paribas Bank.
The currently youngest fund, PAI Europe VI, with a total volume of € 3.3 billion was launched in March 2015.
Participations in Germany include a. FTE (acquired in May 2005 and sold in May 2013), and Xella (acquired in August 2008 and sold in December 2016).
