Penta (proper spelling: PENTA ) is incorporated in 2013 German E-Sport - the organization which currently professional players in the disciplines League of Legends , Hearthstone , FIFA supports and other games.

history

Founded in 2013 as a merger of the five clubs and organizations Concordia Gaming , club diamondZ eV , KomaCrew eV , KD-Gaming eV and logiX eV , Penta Sports started its gaming operations on January 5th, 2014. The team celebrated their first small success in League of Legends . In the Spring Season 14 of the ESL Pro Series Penta Sports reached the finals. The roster of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team, which from August 22nd to December 29th consisted of the five players Felix "fel1x" Zech, Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend, Robin "r0bs3n" Stephan, Denis, received international attention "Denis" Howell and Timo "Spiidi" Richter passed. In October 2014 Penta emerged as the winner of the ESEA Season 17 Main Division - Europe . In Rainbow Six Siege, Penta Sports won the first edition in 2016 and the first and second edition in 2017 of the Pro League hosted by the Electronic Sports League .

In February 2018 they won the Six Invitationals 2018 in Canada. In August 2018, the Rainbow Six Siege team switched to G2 Esports . As a result, the lineup of Mock-it Esports was signed in September 2018.

At the beginning of 2019, PENTA Sports changed its name to PENTA. Also since the beginning of 2019 PENTA has been cooperating with the German sports club TSV 1860 Munich under the PENTA 1860 brand in the League of Legends game , and in June 2019 the cooperation was expanded to include popular sports.

With the PENTA.BCON department, PENTA has had an esports team since 2019, which is made up exclusively of people with a disability. Among other things, this is intended to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in e-sports.
