LEDA / PGC 14849 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 171 million light years from the Milky Way and is considered a member of the NGC 1550 group ( LGG 113 ).
In the same area of ​​the sky is the galaxy NGC 1542 .
