LEDA / PGC 38301 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Hydra south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 93 million light years from the Milky Way and, together with ten other galaxies, forms the IC 764 group ( LGG 271 ).
The galaxies IC 2996 , IC 3010 , IC 3015 are located in the same area of the sky .
