LEDA / PGC 72097 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBd in the constellation Aquarius on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 90 million light years from the Milky Way . Together with four other galaxies, it is considered a member of the NGC 7727 group ( LGG 480 ).
The galaxies NGC 7723 and NGC 7724 are located in the same area of the sky .
