Pablo Insua Blanco (born September 9, 1993 in A Coruña ) is a Spanish football player . The defender is under contract with SD Huesca and has played nine times for his country's junior national teams.

Career

Insua started his career at Deportivo La Coruña . He later played on loan with CD Leganés for two years .

In the summer of 2017 he moved to FC Schalke 04 and received a contract until June 30, 2021. Shortly after the season starts pulling he pleurisy to that add up to a pericardial inflammation worse. He only made his Bundesliga debut for Schalke on matchday 27 in March 2018. Until the end of the season there was no further assignment under Domenico Tedesco .

For the 2018/19 season , Insua returned to Spain and joined SD Huesca for a year on loan . In February 2019, he tore a cruciate ligament . Insua came on 10 first division appearances and rose with the club in the Segunda División . He did not return to FC Schalke 04 in preparation for the summer of 2019, but continued his rehab in Spain. At the end of August, a new loan agreement for the 2019/20 season was signed with SD Huesca . In this, the central defender played nine times, eight of them from the start, in the league and in the cup for the club and was able to celebrate his return to the Primera División with him as champion. Then Insua was firmly committed and received a three-year contract.
