Moisés "Moi" Gómez Bordonado (born June 23, 1994 in Rojales ) is a Spanish football player . The attacking midfielder is under contract with Villarreal .
Career
societies
Gómez played in the youth department of Club Deportivo Tháder in his hometown Rojales and joined the youth team of Villarreal via Alicante FC in 2010 . There he was used for the first time for the second team in the Segunda División while he was still a youth on April 30, 2011 in the 2-0 defeat in the home game against Gimnàstic de Tarragona . He made his debut for the first team in the Primera División on November 28, 2011 in the 2-1 defeat at Málaga FC . The first goal of his professional career he scored on February 25, 2012 for the second team to 1-0 lead in the 2-0 victory at CD Guadalajara . From the 2014/15 season , Gómez was no longer in the squad of the second team and developed into a regular player in the professional team.
For the 2015/16 season , Gómez was awarded a one-year contract to league rivals Getafe FC . After his return, he moved to Sporting Gijón , which also played in the Primera División, at the beginning of the 2016/17 season , with whom he signed a four-year contract. In January 2018, Gómez was awarded to the SD Huesca for a year and a half and achieved promotion to the Primera División with the team in the 2018/19 season . In August 2019, Gómez returned to Villarreal CF.
National team
Gómez went through from the U16 selection to all youth teams of the Spanish Football Association . On November 12, 2014, he played for the Spanish U21 national team for the first time in the 4-1 defeat against Belgium . He scored his first goal for the U21s on March 30, 2015 in a 4-0 win over Belarus .
