Pablo Varela Server
Pablo Varela Server (born July 2, 1942 in Dénia , Alicante Province , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop emeritus in Panama .
Life
Pablo Varela Server was ordained a priest on June 28, 1970 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Macomades Rusticiana and auxiliary bishop in Panama on February 26, 2004 . The Archbishop of Panama, José Dimas Cedeño Delgado , ordained him episcopal on April 17th of the same year; Co -consecrators were Archbishop Giacomo Guido Ottonello , Apostolic Nuncio in Panama, and Oscar Mario Brown Jiménez , Bishop of Santiago de Veraguas .
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on April 26, 2019.
