Palotás is a Hungarian community in the district Pásztó in Nógrád county .

Geographical location

Palotás is located approximately 12 kilometers southwest of the town of Pásztó , on the small river Bujáki-patak . Neighboring communities are Héhalom, Egyházasdenleger, Kisbágyon and Szarvasgede. To the north of the village is a reservoir of over 60 hectares.
