Pásztó small area

The small area Pásztó (Hungarian Pásztói kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Nógrád County in northern Hungary . In the course of the administrative reform at the beginning of 2013, all 26 localities were completely transferred to the following district of Pásztó (Hungarian Pásztói járás ).

At the end of 2012, 31,497 inhabitants lived in the small area on an area of ​​551.56 km². The population density of 57 inhabitants / km² was considerably below the county average (79 inhabitants / km²).

The administrative seat was in the only city, Pásztó (9.559 Ew.).
