history

The two musicians initially appeared as background singers at 883 . In 1996 they made it through the pre-selection Sanremo Giovani with the song Amici come prima , which allowed them to take part in the 1997 Sanremo Festival , which they won. As a result, they appeared as the opening act with both Mark Owen and Michael Jackson . Her first album was Ci chiamano bambine . Despite their popularity, they were only able to achieve one of the last places with Per te in Sanremo in 1998 .

But in 2000 the duo achieved a summer hit with Vamos a bailar (esta vida nueva) , which won the Un disco per l'estate competition. The associated album Television was also released abroad. In 2001 her song became Viva el amor! selected as the official song of the Gay Pride in Milan . The following year the Lied Festival appeared , which announced the album of the same name. Another single from it was Kamasutra , released in 2003. After the album Blu , Paola & Chiara took part in the Sanremo Festival in 2005 with the song A modo mio , but again without success. The first greatest hits album was then released.

In 2007 they reported back with Second Life , which preceded the album Win the Game , first released on the Trepertre label, founded by the sisters . In addition, both sisters had brief solo experiences. After two more albums together, Milleluci 2010 and Giungla 2013, they announced their official separation.
