Paolo Rúmetz (born in Trieste ) is an Italian opera singer with a baritone voice .

Life

Rúmetz began his singing studies in his hometown and continued it in Munich (with Josef Metternich ), in Rome (with Renato Guelfi ), in Vienna and Mantua. He made his debut in Domenico Cimarosa's Il Maestro di Cappella in Spoleto . In 1988 he made his first appearance at the Teatro Verdi in his hometown - in Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos under Spiros Argiris .
