The Park Avenue in the district of Manhattan in New York City is one of the most famous streets of the city. It was originally called Fourth Avenue .

In the middle section, the street runs through Midtown Manhattan , the largest concentration of offices and hotels in the world with around three million jobs . There is the Waldorf Astoria . The MetLife Building (then Pan Am Building ) was built on 200 Park Avenue (above Grand Central Terminal ) in 1963.
