Parves is a French village with 356 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Ain department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The formerly independent municipality is located in the canton of Belley in the arrondissement of the same name . It was merged with Nattages to form Commune nouvelle Parves et Nattages with effect from January 1, 2016 . Since then it has been a commune déléguée and the capital of the new municipality.

Neighboring towns are Belley and Magnieu in the north-west, Massignieu-de-Rives in the north-east, Nattages in the south-east and south, and Virignin in the south-west.
