Pascual Somma (born February 7, 1891 or 1896 in Montevideo , † 1930 ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Somma, used not only on the left wing, but everywhere on the offensive, who is described as a fast, passable and equipped with a goal-scoring instinct, played for Nacional in the Primera División between 1911 and 1927 . He made his debut in 1911 in a 2-0 victory over Dublín on the pitch in Punta Carretas . In 1912, 1915, 1916, 1917, 1919, 1920, 1922, 1923 and 1924, his club won the Uruguayan championship in each of the aforementioned periods. However, his club does not ascribe the first title to him, which only identifies him as a member of the cadre in 1911 and again from 1915 to 1927. In the years 1912 to 1914 he is said to have been active for various other teams. A total of 333 games for the Bolsos are noted for him , in which he scored 64 goals. In the meantime, he also put in a station at Defensor that was not precisely defined in the original source , from where he returned to Nacional in 1925.

Somma was also a member of the Uruguayan senior team . Overall, he graduated from his debut on August 15, 1911 to his last game for the Celeste on August 31, 1924 42 internationals in which he scored three goals.

He took part in seven South American championships with the national team. These were the tournaments in 1916 , 1917 , 1919 , 1920 , 1921 , 1922 and 1923 . In 1916, 1917, 1920 and 1923 Uruguay won the title. With the squad of Celeste at the Summer Olympic Games in 1924 celebrated Somma finally his greatest career success.
