Passang Tshering (born July 16, 1976 in Thimphu ) is a Bhutanese football player .
Career
society
In 2007, Tshering was the top scorer in the A division in Bhutan, the country's top division. On August 4, 2007 Tschering scored a hat trick in a league game within three minutes and 17 goals in the entire game, nine of them in the second half. After the game, he told the Kuensel , a Bhutanese newspaper: "I didn't expect to score 17 goals but there is no need to cheer or feel good because we played against a weak team." Tschering's record was not recognized internationally, however, because coordinator Dinesh Chhetri said the encounter was only a national league game.
National team
Tschering gained international fame through the game against Montserrat , in which his team won 4-0 in the end. This game was initiated by the Dutch director Johan Kramer and processed in the documentary The Other Final . He also scored two goals at the 2013 South Asian Cup . Tschering is currently the captain of his team.
