Patrick Budgen (* 1983 in Vienna ) is an Austrian television presenter and editor.

Life

Patrick Budgen (whose name is pronounced in English) was born in 1983 as the son of an English father in Vienna and also completed his school education here, which he completed with the Matura in 2003 .

At that time he was already working as a freelancer at W24 and wienweb.at , which merged with W24 at the end of 2011. Subsequently, he began studying journalism and media management at the FHWien in 2004 and began in 2005 as an intern at the ORF .

After completing his studies in 2008 at the latest, he was taken on as editor by the ORF regional studio in Vienna and then designed countless television and radio programs for Vienna today , Radio Vienna , as well as programs for the central editorial office of ORF. From that time on, he was seen in numerous live entries and reports for regional and national ORF broadcasts and began in January 2012 as a presenter of the daily live broadcast Wien heute .
