Paul Bouque

Paul Bouque SCI (born July 6, 1896 in Hauconcourt , † August 15, 1979 in Cannes ) was a French clergyman and bishop of Nkongsamba .

Life

He was ordained a priest on July 26, 1925. The Pope appointed him Apostolic Prefect of Foumban on October 28, 1930 . On May 28, 1934 Pius XI appointed him . the titular bishop of Vagada and Vicar Apostolic of Foumban. The Bishop of Metz , Jean-Baptiste Pelt , ordained him episcopal on November 21 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were François-Xavier Vogt CSSp , Vicar Apostolic of Cameroon , and Henri Michel Jean Buckx SCI, Vicar Apostolic of Finland .

Pius XII. appointed him Bishop of Nkongsamba on September 14, 1955 . After his resignation on June 16, 1964 from the episcopate Paul VI appointed him . as titular bishop of Abbir Germaniciana . He attended all the sessions of the Second Vatican Council . He resigned from his office as titular bishop on August 11, 1976.
