Paul Fitzpatrick Russell
Paul Fitzpatrick Russell (born May 2, 1959 in Greenfield , Massachusetts , USA ) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Paul Fitzpatrick Russell received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Boston on June 20, 1987 .
On March 19, 2016 it appointed Pope Francis to Titular Archbishop of Novi and ordered him to the apostolic nuncio in Turkey and Turkmenistan .
His episcopal ordination took place on June 3, 2016 in the Holy Cross Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Boston in Boston . The chief consecrator was the Archbishop of Boston, Seán Patrick Cardinal O'Malley ; he was assisted by Archbishop Allen Vigneron and Archbishop Leo Cushley .
On April 7, 2018, the Pope also appointed him Apostolic Nunzius in Azerbaijan .
