Paul Friedrich von Lang

Paul Friedrich Lang , von Lang from 1873 , (born February 15, 1815 in Flözlingen , † June 20, 1893 in Ludwigsburg ) was a German superintendent of Ulm and Ludwigsburg.

After the state examination , he attended the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Schöntal . He then studied theology in Tübingen and in 1836 became vicar in Trossingen . After a scientific trip, he was a repetiteur at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Urach from 1838 and at the Tübingen Abbey from 1840 . In 1844 he was briefly city vicar in Stuttgart . Positions as a deacon in Sulz am Neckar and Göppingen followed .

In 1857 he became dean of Sulz and in 1864 of Heilbronn . In 1869 he became a member of the marriage court at the district court. In 1870 he was appointed prelate and general superintendent of Ulm , in 1883 as successor to Albert von Hauber he was appointed general superintendent of Ludwigsburg . From 1870 to 1882 he sat as general superintendent of Ulm in the second chamber of the Württemberg estates and from 1883 until his retirement in 1890 for the general superintendent in Ludwigsburg.
