Paul Lennard Sundheim (born September 20, 2001 ) is a German actor .

Life

Paul Sundheim made his first acting experiences at the age of ten in school theater, where he participated in several productions from 2011. In 2013 he stood in front of the camera for the first time under the direction of Niki Stein . Sundheim has since appeared in several television series and films.

In the 90-minute winter special of the 8th season of the Austrian-German TV series Der Bergdoktor , which premiered in December 2014, Sundheim, as a disabled neighbor's boy who was with Bergdoktor Dr. Martin Gruber ( Hans Sigl ) befriends, one of the main roles. In 2015 and 2018, he played the role of the former problem student Dennis Lörding in the TV series The Teacher , who puts his life at risk because of domestic psychological terror with tests of strength and courage.

In the 5th season of the ZDF series Bettys Diagnose (2019), Sundheim took on one of the main roles in the episode as the teenage son of a vaccine opponent who suffers from life-threatening diphtheria . He had another leading role in the episode as the 14-year-old Robin Sommer, who had leukemia and was initially suspected of being physically abused by his parents, in the television series Großstadtrevier (2019).

In the TV comedy Mit der Tür ins Haus (2019, director: Karola Meeder ), he embodied the 14-year-old Linus Jacob, the film son of main actress Chiara Schoras , who was annoyed by the distressed living situation with his mother , who initially went into the garden with his tent flees and moves out in the end.

In the 4-part miniseries Deutscher , which was first broadcast on ZDFneo from April 2020 , Sundheim played, alongside Johannes Geller , one of the main roles, the student David Schneider, who kept his parents' efforts at a distance from his neighbors who sympathized with a right-wing populist party go, subverts.
