Paulina Vereti

Paulina Vereti (born July 18, 1998 in Berlin , real name: Paulina Veretilnaia ) is a German singer.

Career

Paulina Vereti took second place in the Euro-Pop-Contest Berliner Perle in 2009 in the age category 10 to 13 years. In 2010 she reached the finals of the Austrian singing casting show Kiddy Contest , which was broadcast live on ORF 1 on October 30, 2010 and for the first time on Nickelodeon on November 6, 2010 .

In 2011 Vereti took part in the first edition of the RTL II show My Name Is , a TV format in which Germany's best artist imitator is sought. She sang the classic I Will Always Love You in Whitney Houston's version and accompanied herself on the saxophone. After this performance, the music producer Jack White signed the Berliner to his label Gloriella Music in 2012 . On March 17, 2012, he presented it in the ARD live broadcast “Spring Festival of Surprises” with Florian Silbereisen , which saw 5.72 million viewers. On October 12, 2012, Vereti's German-language debut album Pure Sehnsucht was released. The album contains the song It's so beautiful that I'm a girl , a German version of the world hit Self Control by Laura Branigan . This original title, produced by Jack White in 1984, had never been covered in German before.

In 2017 Vereti took part in the seventh season of the singing casting show The Voice of Germany , where she was eliminated in the "Blind Auditions".
