Paulo Bosi Dal'Bó

Paulo Bosi Dal'Bó (born August 27, 1962 in Colatina , Espírito Santo , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of São Mateus .

Life

Paulo Bosi Dal'Bó studied Philosophy and Catholic Theology at the Diocesan Seminary in Colatina. He also holds degrees in accounting, social communication and educational psychology. On December 5, 1999, he received by Bishop Geraldo Lyrio Rocha the Diakonen- and on 10 June 2000, the ordination for the diocese of Colatina .

After his ordination he was first head of the Theological Propaedeuticum of the Colatina diocese and was active in various tasks in pastoral care. From 2006 to 2010 he was Regens of the Diocesan Seminary and from 2007 to 2011 President of the Association of Seminars and Theological-Philosophical Institutes of Brazil (OSIB). He was then vicar general of the Colatina diocese and pastor in Itaguaçu .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of São Mateus on October 21, 2015 . The Archbishop of Mariana , Geraldo Lyrio Rocha, donated him episcopal ordination on December 12th of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Colatina, Joaquim Wladimir Lopes Dias , and his predecessor Décio Sossai Zandonade SDB . The inauguration in the diocese of São Mateus took place two weeks later.
