Pedro Manuel Taborda Moreira (born June 22, 1978 in Covilhã , Castelo Branco district ) is a former Portuguese football player . The goalkeeper played a total of 108 games in the Portuguese Primeira Liga and the Romanian Liga 1 .
Career
Taborda's career began at Ermesinde SC in the Segunda Divisão Portuguesa , the third Portuguese division. After three years, he moved to league rivals SC Freamunde in the summer of 2002 , before hiring him in 2004 to Naval 1º de Maio , which played in the Liga de Honra for promotion to the SuperLiga . In the following season succeeded with Taborda as a regular goalkeeper the desired promotion and he was able to hold the class three times with Naval 1º de Maio, where he was no longer used regularly in the 2007/08 season .
In the summer of 2008 Taborda left Portugal and moved to Romania for FC Timișoara . There he is the deputy of regular goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon and could hardly contribute anything to the runner-up in 2009 and 2011 or to reaching the cup final in 2009. After the club was no longer licensed in the summer of 2011 and had to relegate , he returned to Naval 1º de Maio , which now played in the Segunda Liga. There he missed promotion in the 2011/12 season . In the summer of 2012, FC Brașov brought him back to League 1. However, he returned to Naval during the winter break, but rose with the club at the end of the 2012/13 season . He left the club to league rival SC Covilhã . In the summer of 2016 he was given the opportunity to move to Moreirense FC in the Primeira Liga as a substitute goalkeeper . After an assignment, he ended his career there in 2017.
