The Retterserbach is a 3.6 km long right tributary of the Mehrbach in the district of Altenkirchen (Westerwald) , Rhineland-Palatinate .
geography
course
The stream rises in the Leuscheid ridge north of the village of Rettersen on the district of Hasselbach . It flows in a southerly direction through the towns of Rettersen and Ersfeld and flows into the Mehrbach at Kreisstraße 24. In the upper reaches the brook is also called Scherenbach , at Ersfeld it is called Peschbach .
