Geographical location

The place is near the state border to North Rhine-Westphalia , about two kilometers west of Weyerbusch on the federal road 8 to Kircheib .

history

A first written reference was told the place Hasselbach in 1262, as a Ludwig von Hasselbach, which at that time Asilbach was written when Schultheiss an agreement of Count Johann von Sayn with the abbot of the abbey Marienstatt signed.
