coat of arms

Brachbach coat of arms
Blazon : "Shield through a curled green tip, inside on a black shield base a golden tunnel mouth hole with a black opening and split with a rising golden spruce, in front a continuous red cross in silver, behind in black a silver sloping bar, covered with three black boar heads."
Justification of the coat of arms: The three boar heads in the coat of arms symbolize the former affiliation to the Freusburg rulership , from whose coat of arms these were taken over. The red cross on a silver background indicates Kurtrier , to which Brachbach in the parish Kirchen belonged as " Trierische Insel ". The “Stollenmundloch” of the “Werrnsberger Erbstollen” (approx. 300 years old) is reminiscent of earlier mining and is today a landmark for Brachbach.

Parish partnership

Brachbach has had a partnership with La Membrolle-sur-Choisille in the French department of Indre-et-Loire since the 1980s .
