coat of arms
Blazon : "In silver, a red diagonal bar with three silver diamonds in a row, accompanied on the right by a red four-spoke mill wheel, on the left by a green juniper branch with blue berries." | |
Reasons for the coat of arms: The gentlemen of Gebhardsayn called von Lützerath led three white diamonds in red, lined up diagonally to the right. Here the coat of arms shows the longstanding close affiliation with Gebhardshain. The Dauersberger Mühle also belongs to Elben. The mill wheel stands for them. An almost historic juniper distillation from 1897 is located in Elben. The juniper branch stands for them. Elben has had this coat of arms since 1988. |
