Peter Brearley (born June 27, 1975 in Chatham , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player ( striker ), who ended his career in 2005 with the EHC Munich .

Career

Brearley began his career in the 1992/93 season with the junior team of the New York Rangers , the Kitchener Rangers in the Ontario Hockey League . He played for the Rangers until the beginning of the 1994/95 season before moving to the London Knights in the same year .

From 1995 to 1997 Brearley played at the University of Waterloo in the Canadian Interuniversity Athletics Union (CIAU) until he moved to Roanoke Express in the East Coast Hockey League in the 1997/98 season.

In the 1998/99 season, Brearley played for three different teams, first for the Charlotte Checkers , then for Huntington Blizzard and at the end again for Roanoke Express.

A season later, namely 1999/00, Brearley then returned to Huntington Blizzard before he went to the Topeka Scarecrows in the CHL for the 2000/01 season .

He then signed a contract for the 2001/02 season with the Bakersfield Condors in the WCHL and his last stop in America was New Mexico Scorpions in the CHL.

Brearley moved to Europe for EHC Munich for the 2003/04 season , for which he also played the following season and ended his ice hockey career after a successful promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga .
