Act

In his works, Dorn deals with the present and the associated search for traces of everyday life.

"Peter Dorn, an artist personality of a" special kind ": reserved, almost silent, his radically conceived, object-like, but also graphic interventions or installations have enriched the art life of the East Bavarian region for years." Herbert Schneidler

"His container installation in the Thon-Dittmer-Hof from last year may have troubled some minds. But today, when art in public space is becoming more and more problematic, it is a solution in which no new values are postulated, but those of the means of transport are illustrated anew before they are returned to their old purpose. As a museum man, I also have respect for someone who would prefer to leave his work at the place of origin in order to create a tension between the place of discovery and the found object. " Veit Loers
