Peter Holliger

Peter Holliger (born October 6, 1945 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actor and theater director .

Life

Peter Holliger received his acting and directing training from 1966 to 1969 at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and at the Stage Group Company in San Francisco .

He had his first engagement in 1969/1970 in Bern at the Atelier-Theater; This was followed by engagements in Germany, for example at the Westphalian State Theater in Castrop-Rauxel in 1971/1972 , then at the Oberhausen Theater , where he played Ferdinand in Kabale und Liebe .

From 1973 to 1975 he worked at the Theater Biel Solothurn ; there he staged René Regenass ' «Session I. One-act. Contrast I ». This was followed by engagements at the Theater Kanton Zürich (1975/1976), at the Sommertheater Winterthur (1976/1977), at the Kleintheater Kramgasse 6 in Bern (1976 to 1978) and until 1982 at the Schauspielhaus Zürich . 1983/1984 followed an engagement at the Theater St. Gallen .

Since 1985 he has worked as a freelance director, actor and speaker. In addition, he has been performing literary and musical programs in Switzerland and Germany since 2003 with the guitarist Marcel Ege. He directs freelance at the Theater an der Winkelwiese , the Theater Biel Solothurn, the Theater am Neumarkt Zurich and Miller's Studio Zurich. As an actor he continues to work in cinema and television productions.
