Peter Nagy (director)

Peter Nagy (born January 10, 1955 in Vienna ) is an Austrian TV director and producer .

Life

After attending the Wasagasse grammar school and graduating from high school, Nagy studied journalism and communications at the University of Vienna . He then worked for ORF Burgenland as a radio ombudsman and created radio and TV features. From 1979 he worked in the editing and moderation of the ORF youth program OKAY. He conducted interviews with greats in the music industry and participated in the design of music videos. In 1987 he became the CVD of Seitenblicke , but one year later he switched to the youth and music show X-Large , where he worked as an editor and director. In 1989 he worked as a designer for the Jolly Joker documentaries on ORF 2 .

Together with TV presenter Barbara Stöckl he is the owner and managing director of the company KIWI-TV Filmproduktionsges.mbH Peter Nagy lives in Vienna and Burgenland, is married to the journalist Claudia Tebel-Nagy and has two daughters.

Awards

In 2005 Nagy received an Amadeus Austrian Music Award for directing DVD Falco live on the Danube Island .
