Peter Oppelt

Peter Oppelt (born March 15, 1966 in Scheßlitz , Upper Franconia ) is a German gynecologist and obstetrician in Linz.

Life

From 1988 Oppelt studied preclinical at the University of Regensburg . After completing the Physikum , he moved to the Technical University of Munich in 1991 . In the same year he became active in the Corps Makaria Munich . After the state examination in 1995/96 he was an intern in the gynecological clinic of the University Clinic Frankfurt am Main . In 1997 he was licensed as a doctor and awarded a Dr. med. PhD . He stayed in Frankfurt am Main for training . In 2001 he switched to Erlangen University Hospital as a specialist , where he became senior physician at the women's clinic. He completed his habilitation as a senior physician in July 2007. In 2006, he completed a part-time course in management in health care at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences , which he completed in 2008 as a Master of Business Administration . In November 2008 he became Primarius for Gynecology in the General Hospital of the City of Linz . On January 1, 2013, he changed jobs. The spag made him head of the department for gynecology and obstetrics in the state women's and children's clinic in Linz. The Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg appointed him an associate professor in February 2013 . On December 1, 2016, he took up the chair for gynecology, obstetrics and gynecological endocrinology at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. His focus is on oncology and endometriosis .
