Peter Philipp

Peter Philipp (born July 16, 1971 in Düsseldorf ; † February 6, 2014 there ) was a German writer and cabaret artist .

life and work

Peter Philipp was born in Düsseldorf in 1971. There he studied German language and literature and philosophy at Heinrich Heine University from 1992 to 2000 . He has published several books and founded the cabaret vocal ensemble "Waschkraft", whose head writer, bassist, singer and emcee had been from 2000.

In 1998 the volume Logical-Philosophical Investigations was published by Walter de Gruyter . In 2000 he published his first volume of poetry in the Grupello Verlag in Düsseldorf. The volume of poetry Die Flötentöne followed in 2003 . In 2004 he received the Prize for Literature of the State Capital Düsseldorf .

Peter Philipp lived as a freelance writer in Düsseldorf, he wrote poetry and prose. Philipp died on February 6, 2014 at the age of 42 in his hometown.
